On the ninth day of the Lunar New Year, amid spring breezes and firecracker blasts, the national flag was raised to the resonant national anthem. Warm sunshine bathes the land of South Guangdong, bearing witness to the Spring‑Kick‑off Ceremony of Kangrong Hi‑Tech.
The golden ox gallops toward a prosperous age, striving forward with unyielding resolve. Responding to government initiatives, more than 60 employees chose to spend the Spring Festival in Foshan. Nearly half of front‑line colleagues returned to their posts as early as the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. On the official work‑resumption day, staff attendance reached 87%, hitting a new high in recent years.
To help colleagues staying in Foshan feel the strong festive atmosphere, the trade union organized skill competitions and a New‑Year‑Eve communal Akiba dinner. To recognize security staff who safeguarded company safety over the holiday, six security officers on round‑the‑clock duty were specially commended at the kick‑off ceremony.
Tang Bo from the Ceramic R&D Department is a second‑generation Kangrong employee, whose parents also work at Kangrong Hi‑Tech. He joined the company right after graduation. His speech was filled with deep affection for the enterprise:
“Neither gold nor silver trophies compare to people’s word‑of‑mouth praise; neither gold nor silver awards weigh more than compliments spoken behind one’s back. Kangrong always enjoys an excellent reputation. When I worked summer internships at the New Light Source Base, I constantly heard positive remarks about Kangrong — ‘Kangrong is great’, ‘Kangrong is reliable’, ‘Kangrong is an integrity‑driven enterprise’.
Spending the Spring Festival here feels wonderful. The company offers us thoughtful, meticulous care and support, encouraging us to pursue better earnings and a brighter future. For me, Kangrong is home. Spending the Lunar New Year at Kangrong is just like celebrating at home.”
Mr. Xue Xirong, Chairman of Kangrong Hi‑Tech, delivered a New‑Year address titled No Mountains or Rivers Can Hold Back Our Forward‑Marching Momentum. He extended New‑Year greetings to all Kangrong team members, outlined promising prospects, and shared the Kangrong dream: completing the construction of the headquarters building and achieving IPO listing in 2023. He elaborated on the path to high‑profit growth driven by the company’s three core business pillars. In this year of turning misfortune into opportunity, Kangrong Hi‑Tech implemented incremental performance management.
The Chairman concluded his speech with Guiyuan Pu, a seven‑character ancient poem by Southern‑Song poet Yang Wanli:
Ten thousand hills block the stream from rushing free,
Yet day and night its murmurs still persist.
When it reaches the end of mountain ridges ahead,
The stream flows grandly out to the village ahead.
He remarked: “I share this poem with all of you to remind us: Kangrong Hi‑Tech has completed its 27‑year journey and entered its 28th year. Along the way, we have repeatedly encountered obstacles like ‘ten thousand hills blocking the stream’. Yet, just like countless streams that never give up their faith to reach the sea, we surge forward day and night. After numerous setbacks and trials, nothing can hold back our momentum to forge ahead!”
