"Shiwan tiles rank first under heaven." The age‑old Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, with a five‑century‑long unbroken heritage, embodies Foshan’s time‑honoured ceramic culture.
Mr. Xue Xirong, founder of Kangrong Precision Ceramics, had his grandfather establish a ceramic workshop named Guangfulong in Shiwan, Foshan, in the early 1900s. His father spent his entire career at the Shiwan Huatao Factory in Foshan. As the third‑generation heir of a ceramic‑making family, Mr. Xue Xirong also worked at Shiwan Huatao Factory in his youth. Such family heritage and professional experience forged an indissoluble bond between him and ceramics.
His entry into the precision ceramics industry, the founding of Kangrong Group, and adoption of Inamori’s business philosophy were inspired by the book Secrets of Kyocera’s Success written by Mr. Kazuo Inamori, founder of Japan’s Kyocera, in the early 1990s.
