On January 12, 2021, led by Mr. Mo Zhuorong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Sihui Kangrong New Materials Co., Ltd., the branch team installed new solar street lamps and comprehensively inspected and replaced all existing street lamps along newly built roads in the villages surrounding the company.
Taiping Village and Shangzeng Village are the two closest villages to the company. The village roads feature narrow lanes and sharp curves, and most of the remaining labor force in the two villages are employees of Kangrong. To ensure the travel safety of staff commuting to and from work and villagers traveling at night, Sihui Kangrong New Materials Co., Ltd. invested hundreds of thousands of yuan in renovating surrounding village roads. The company also installed energy-saving street lamps for all village roads free of charge and arranges regular annual inspection and replacement maintenance to guarantee stable lamp operation.
To ensure optimal lighting effectiveness, Secretary Mo, together with Chairman Guo of the Trade Union and other Party members, took part in the on-site installation work personally. They assembled the lamps strictly in accordance with official instructions, adjusted lighting angles based on sunlight orientation, and repeatedly debugged lamp performance until achieving the best operating condition.
Villagers passing by witnessed the Party members working diligently in the cold wind and spoke highly of their efforts. They expressed sincere gratitude: “Thank you, Kangrong! Thank you, Chairman Xue! Thank you, Secretary Mo and all Party branch members! You have not only lit up the village roads, bringing tangible convenience for our night travel, walking and fitness activities, but also ignited a warm light in the hearts of all villagers.” The villagers stated that they would work diligently, strive to be model workers and pioneers of prosperity, pass on this warmth, and let the glory of the Party illuminate the entire village and the whole of Guangdong.
