To popularize fire‑safety knowledge, raise safety awareness, improve fire‑emergency response capacity and enhance proficiency in fire‑fighting equipment operation, the Shishan Fire‑Safety Committee hosted the 2020 Shishan Enterprise Fire‑Fighting Skills Games at Hongsha Fire Station on November 19, 2020.
Three competition events were arranged: two‑hose‑reel connection, 30‑meter ABC dry‑powder fire‑extinguishing for oil‑barrel fire simulation, and material transportation. A total of 16 local enterprises from Shishan took part in the contest.
The opening ceremony commenced at 14:30 in the afternoon. Leading officials from the organizer, Shishan Fire‑Safety Committee, attended the ceremony, together with all participating enterprise athletes and referees from Hongsha Fire Station.
The host emphasized that fire‑safety management is an obligation and unshirkable responsibility for every enterprise and every employee. Through publicity, drills and competitions, Shishan aims to strengthen enterprises’ sense of responsibility and mission for fire safety, and then officially declared the games open.
During the competition, our company’s athletes demonstrated solid fire‑fighting know‑how and skills. Upholding the spirit of hard work and perseverance, they strove for honors for our enterprise. Our team achieved new milestones: winning 1st place in the 30‑meter ABC dry‑powder oil‑barrel fire‑extinguishing event and 4th place in the two‑hose‑reel connection challenge. The event concluded following the award‑giving ceremony.
